Jennifer Lopez Defends Ben Affleck Over SHOCKING Comments Blaming Jennifer Garner For His Alcoholism
Jennifer Lopez broke her silence over the false claims made on her behalf in multiple reports stating that she is "pissed" at boyfriend Ben Affleck over his comments on Jennifer Garner. Affleck shares three kids - Violet, Seraphina, and son Samuel with Garner.

The recent reports come following Affleck’s recent interview with Howard Stern where he got candid about his marriage with Jennifer Garner and shared how he struggled with alcoholism during the same. Soon the reports emerged that JLo was mad at Affleck for his comments, however, the singer has denied all claims.

JLo clarified the same in a statement to PEOPLE saying, "This story is simply not true. It is not how I feel." She further added that she holds immense respect for Ben and said, "I couldn't have more respect for Ben as a father, a co-parent, and a person."

On the 'Howard Stern Show,’ Affleck spoke about his issues with alcohol and said he'd "still be drinking" if he had stayed married to Garner. He double-downed on the statement with a shocking comment saying, "it's a part of why I started drinking... because I was trapped." Garner's fans flocked to her side immediately after the interview went live and multiple outlets put out their reports about what Affleck said during that conversation.

Several users had shared their take on Affleck’s comments and one wrote, "@BenAffleck You are a very small man. You have addiction issues and blame it on your ex. Guess what, you're selling a betting app on TV. You just can't help yourself. Jennifer Garner was there for you. She could have kept your kids away from you!!"

"What a PRICK @BenAffleck is to initmate that #JenniferGarner was responsible for his alcoholism! Hello! YOU made the choice to reach for the bottle instead of help! You are an adult, not 13 years old! Grow a PAIR, and OWN IT! Do not blame your ex-wife you Prick!" wrote another.

In his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote his upcoming film, The Last Duel, Ben Affleck addressed the online hate and maintained that his comments were taken out of context.
